Sumedang’s Jans Park Shines with Glow Galaxy Night Tourism

KBRN, Sumedang: The Sumedang Regency Administration in West Java has welcomed the launch of the Jans Park Glow Galaxy program at Jatinangor National Park, describing the space-themed night tourism initiative as a strategic step to boost the region’s appeal during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The Glow Galaxy program was officially introduced on Monday, December 22, 2025, and quickly drew public attention. The concept offers visitors a fresh experience with an illuminated amusement park atmosphere that stands apart from conventional tourism.

Panji Akbar Ramadhan, Operations Manager of Jans Park, explained that Glow Galaxy creates a night amusement park setting with space-themed decorations.

Miniature astronauts, moons, stars, planets, and light tunnels serve as the main attractions. “We launched Glow Galaxy on Mother’s Day. The goal is to provide a different, engaging, and memorable night tourism experience for visitors to Jans Park,” Panji said.

He added that the nightlife concept will be opened periodically, particularly during school breaks and major holidays, with plans to operate up to three times a year. The Glow Galaxy program runs daily from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with ticket sales closing at 9 p.m. local time.

Sumedang Regent Dony Ahmad Munir said the presence of attractions like Glow Galaxy in Jatinangor not only enriches family vacation options but also supports the local economy, benefiting micro, small, and medium enterprises as well as other tourism services.

“Many thanks to Jans Park for continuing to showcase originality and creativity. This is a significant step in advancing the regional tourism industry,” he said, expressing hope that Jans Park will remain popular and establish itself as one of Sumedang’s leading destinations.

The Glow Galaxy program will run for two weeks, ending on January 4, 2026. Admission is set at IDR 25,000 (approximately USD 1.60), with a special promotion offering free entry for children aged 0–12 during the first three days upon presentation of a Child Identity Card or Family Card.

With the launch of Glow Galaxy, Jans Park Jatinangor is expected to further strengthen its position as a favorite tourist destination in Sumedang Regency. (Misni Parjiati/Lasti Martina)
