KBRN, Jakarta: The Jakarta Light Festival has returned to brighten the Christmas and New Year holidays at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout. Organized by the Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, the festival runs from December 23 to 27, 2025, with nightly shows from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Jakarta time.

This year’s edition carries a Christmas theme, with festive light installations and ornaments transforming the HI Roundabout into a dazzling attraction. Since opening night on Tuesday, December 23, the displays have drawn crowds eager to take photos and enjoy Jakarta’s lively nighttime atmosphere.

The installations are designed to offer a memorable visual experience, featuring creative elements such as flowers and playful Christmas characters. Spectacular video mapping enhances the roundabout’s scenery, while Christmas carols add warmth to the city’s nightlife.

The Jakarta Light Festival is part of the administration’s efforts to revitalize urban tourism and provide free, family-friendly entertainment during the year-end holidays. Safety and comfort remain priorities, with visitors encouraged to maintain order and cleanliness throughout the event.
