KBRN, Jakarta: Indonesian Deputy Minister of Tourism Ni Luh Enik Ermawati, popularly known as Ni Luh Puspa, visited several tourist destinations in Anyer, Banten, to review preparations ahead of the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year holidays.
During the visit on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, Ni Luh inspected facilities at Pasir Putih Carita Beach and Tanjung Lesung Beach Hotel in Pandeglang, ensuring readiness in areas ranging from cleanliness and toilet facilities to the availability of health posts and safety officers.
“I came to Pasir Putih Beach to make sure the management is fully prepared for the holiday peak, particularly in terms of visitor safety and security,” she said as quoted on the Ministry of Tourism's official website.
During the visit, Ni Luh praised the initiative of Pasir Putih Carita Beach management, which has included life insurance coverage from Jasa Raharja in the IDR 10,000 entry ticket. She described the measure as an important step to boost visitor confidence and provide a sense of security.
“Hopefully this will help the public feel safer and more comfortable when traveling to destinations across Banten,” she added.
The Deputy Minister also urged stakeholders to strengthen risk mitigation measures, particularly by installing more evacuation route signs to guide tourists in case of emergencies. “Clear signage is essential so visitors are not confused during critical situations,” she stressed.
Ni Luh further advised tourists to spread their visits across multiple destinations during the holiday season to avoid overcrowding and ensure a pleasant experience for all. “We must prevent excessive crowding at a single site, as it can cause discomfort for visitors,” she noted.
She also emphasized the importance of strict monitoring to prevent illegal levies targeting tourists. The Ministry of Tourism, she said, has issued a ministerial circular instructing local governments to step up oversight. “We want tourists to enjoy their holidays safely and without unnecessary burdens,” Ni Luh explained. ***
